Due to the difficulty of entering European countries on my Indonesian boyfriend(the crap visa application), I insisted to join Simon and Mechelle, who are couple, to Rome. Apart of being the 2000w spotlight, it was a fantastic and unforgettable excursion. Certainly 3 days is not enough to know Rome thoroughly, however, it's a good start for me to know Italy! Generally people there don't speak English, unless you force them to speak. Hand gesture and speak slowly would help you to survive with the Italian. Highlights of the visits include The Vatican City, The Colosseo, Musei Vaticani and Fontana di Trevi. It is a must to try out Italian Caffe. They don't have filter coffee in Italy, all are freshly made by ground coffee. ICE CREAM!!! never thought that there can be such a diversity in ice cream flavour. you name it, they have it. It's been the 2nd time I have been to Germany where the first destination was Koln. Both cities have their unique character. Munich is definitely one of the cities that worth visiting. Impressive architecture either in modern and traditional.
